1. Information About Us

1.1 www.beduatelier.com is a website operated by Bedu Atelier B.V.
We are registered in the Dutch KVK under company number 97651982.

Our registered address is Schiestraat 9, 3313 CX Dordrecht, the Netherlands.


2. Purchase and Payment

2.1 To purchase our products, follow the steps on our website. When you place an order and we accept it, you are responsible for completing payment.

2.2 A binding agreement is established once you accept our terms and fulfill the necessary conditions. Even without a signature, the agreement is valid once you receive an order confirmation email from us. If you do not receive a confirmation email, the agreement is not yet in effect.

2.3 Bedu Atelier reserves the right to refuse an order or apply additional conditions in cases such as large orders, orders by minors, incomplete procedures, or outstanding issues with previous orders.

2.4 Orders cannot be cancelled once dispatched. If you change your mind after shipment, you may refuse delivery or return the goods in line with our Returns Policy (Section 9).

2.5 Ownership of all goods remains with Bedu Atelier until payment has been made in full.

2.6 It is your responsibility to keep your contact details up to date to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and deliveries.


3. Delivery

3.1 All orders are subject to product and material availability. If the ordered items are unavailable or delayed, we will notify you as soon as possible.

3.2 Standard delivery timeframe is 2–12 weeks, and up to 14 weeks for customized items. In rare cases of force majeure or supply chain disruptions, delivery may be extended up to 6 months. Customers will be informed if such a situation arises.

3.3 Free delivery is available for ground-floor deliveries in the Netherlands and Belgium. Delivery to higher floors is included if a passenger lift is available. If additional assistance is required due to incorrect estimations, extra costs will be charged. Delivery to upper floors without a lift requires a moving lift or additional carrier services at your expense.

3.4 For customers outside the Netherlands and Belgium, applicable shipping fees will be shown at checkout (where available). For destinations not covered, please contact us by email or message for a tailored shipping quote.

3.5 Our trusted courier partners or delivery team will contact you approximately 2 weeks before delivery, and again 1–2 days prior, to confirm the delivery date and timing.

3.6 Once products are delivered to the provided address, the risk passes to you. If no one is available to accept the delivery at the agreed time, additional costs may apply.

3.7 It is your responsibility to ensure products fit into your home, including doorways, staircases, and rooms. If delivery is not possible due to access issues, you will be responsible for return or re-delivery costs.


4. Product Images and Sizes

4.1 Product images on our website are for illustrative purposes only. While we aim to display colors accurately, we cannot guarantee exact representation on every device. Products may slightly differ from images shown.

4.2 Dimensions, weights, and specifications provided are approximate.


5. Product Prices

5.1 Product prices are listed on our website unless an obvious error occurs.

5.2 Prices may change but will not affect accepted orders.

5.3 Product prices exclude delivery charges. If applicable, delivery costs will be shown during checkout.

5.4 In the event of a pricing error:

  • If the correct price is lower, we will charge the lower price.

  • If the correct price is higher, we may contact you for confirmation or cancel the order.

5.5 If the error is obvious and you could reasonably have recognized it as a mistake, we are not obliged to provide the product at the incorrect price, even after accepting your order.


6. Payment

6.1 We accept the payment methods listed on our website. All payments, including delivery charges, must be completed before delivery.

6.2 By placing an order, you confirm that the provided payment details are valid and accurate.


7. Risk and Ownership

7.1 Ownership of products transfers to you once full payment, including delivery charges, is received.

7.2 Responsibility for the products transfers to you (or a third party, excluding the courier) upon delivery.

7.3 You are responsible for proper use and maintenance of purchased products. Any damages from misuse are not the responsibility of Bedu Atelier.

7.4 Use of maintenance products purchased from us is at your own risk.


8. Cancellation, Returns & Refunds

8.1 You have the right to withdraw and cancel within 14 days of delivery, except for custom-made products (e.g., dining tables) and items made specifically for you.

8.2 Products must be returned in their original packaging and handled with care during the withdrawal period.

8.3 To exercise your right of withdrawal, contact us via email or phone within 14 days of receiving the goods. Both you and Bedu Atelier must confirm cancellation within this period.

8.4 You are responsible for any reduction in value caused by unnecessary handling.

8.5 Refunds exclude initial delivery and return shipping costs.

8.6 For customers in the Netherlands and Belgium, transport costs for returns are fixed as follows:

  • Tables: €200

  • Chairs: €15 per item

8.7 Refunds may be withheld until we receive the returned products or proof of return.

8.8 If products are not returned under the withdrawal terms, no refund will be issued.


9. Defective Goods

9.1 Inspect goods immediately upon delivery. If defects, damages, or incorrect items are found, report them to Bedu Atelier within 7 working days.

9.2 Return costs for defective or incorrectly supplied goods will be covered by Bedu Atelier.

9.3 Please use original or similar packaging when returning goods.


10. Complaints

10.1 Complaints must be submitted within 14 days of delivery. If valid, our liability is limited to replacing the goods.

10.2 Our maximum liability is limited to the total amount paid for the order.


11. Warranty

11.1 We provide a 2-year warranty for our travertine, marble, and wood tables, as well as all other products, covering manufacturing defects and breakages.

11.2 Warranty handling is covered by Bedu Atelier. However, customers are responsible for shipping costs when returning products to us.
