1. Information about us

 

1.1   www.beduatelier.com is a website operated by Bedu Atelier. We are registered in the Dutch KVK under company number 91174708. Our registered address is Schiestraat 9, 3313 CX Dordrecht, the Netherlands.

 

2. Purchase and Payment

     

    2.1   To buy our products, simply follow the steps on our website. When you place an order and we accept it, you're responsible for making the payment for the products in that order.

    2.2   The agreement between you and Bedu Atelier is established when you accept our terms and fulfill the necessary conditions. Even without a signature, the offer and acceptance are binding. Once we receive your order, we'll send you a confirmation email, which means we've accepted your order. If you haven't received a confirmation email, the agreement is not yet in effect.

    2.3   Bedu Atelier reserves the right to refuse an order or impose additional conditions, such as for large orders, orders by minors, incomplete order procedures, or issues with previous orders.

    2.4   Unfortunately, once we've dispatched an order, we're unable to cancel it. If you change your mind after the order has been shipped, you can refuse delivery or return the goods following our returns policy in section 9 below.

    2.5   The Seller retains ownership of all goods until payment has been made in full.

    2.6    It's important to keep your contact details up to date in our records so that we can reach out to you regarding your order or product delivery.

     

    3. Delivery

     

    3.1   All product orders are subject to availability and material availability. If the products you've ordered are unavailable or there might be a delay in delivery, we'll notify you as soon as possible after receiving your order.

    3.2   Once the products have been delivered to the specified address, the risk associated with these products passes on to the buyer.

     

    4. Product Images and Sizes

       
      4.1   The product images displayed on our website are for illustrative purposes only. While we strive to accurately depict the colors, we cannot guarantee that your computer will display them accurately. The delivered products may slightly differ from the images shown.
       
      4.2   We have made every effort to provide accurate dimensions such as weight, size, and content on our website, but please note that they are approximate.
       

      5. Product Prices

         
        5.1   The price of a product is as indicated on our website, unless there is an obvious error.
         
        5.2   Product prices may change occasionally, but such changes won't affect any accepted orders.
         
        5.3   The product price includes applicable VAT, but excludes any delivery charges. If applicable, the delivery charges will be added to the total price during the ordering process. For specific delivery charges, please refer to our Delivery page.
         
        5.4   Sometimes, there may be errors in the listed product prices. We typically verify prices during the order processing. If the correct price is lower than what we stated, we'll charge you the lower amount upon dispatching the product. If the correct price is higher, we may contact you for instructions or decline the order and notify you accordingly.
         
        5.5   If an obvious and unmistakable mistake with the price occurs, and you should have reasonably recognized it as a mistake, we are not obligated to supply the product at the incorrect (lower) price, even if we've accepted your order.
         

        6. Payment

           
          6.1   We accept payment through the methods listed on our website. You must make the payment for the products and any applicable delivery charges before the products are delivered.
           
          6.2   By placing an order on our website, you confirm that the payment details provided in your order are valid and accurate.
           

          7. Delivery

           

          7.1   We offer delivery service for all our products with estimated delivery times mentioned on our website. Please note that these times are approximate.

          7.2   Deliveries are limited to mainland Netherlands and Belgium only. If you need delivery to another country, additional charges may apply.

          7.3   After your purchase, our delivery partner will contact you using the phone number or email address provided. They will confirm the delivery date and send you an email as well. While we strive to deliver your products within the expected timeframe, unexpected issues with the manufacturer or delivery partners might cause delays. If this happens, we will reach out to you to arrange a new delivery date.

          7.4   Once the products are delivered to the address you provided, the delivery is considered complete. If no one is available to receive the delivery at the agreed time, there may be additional charges.

          7.5   It's your responsibility to ensure that you are able to receive the products you ordered. Please make sure they can fit into your desired room, pass through doorways, and navigate any stairs or other obstacles. If there are any difficulties with delivery due to these reasons, you will be responsible for the costs of returning the products or arranging for their collection. Alternatively, you can explore special delivery services provided by our partners, but any additional costs would be your responsibility.

             

            Please note that delivery may not always be free of charge:

            • Deliveries to the ground floor in the Netherlands and Belgium are free of charge.
            • Shipping costs vary for deliveries to other countries.
            • Delivery to floors accessible by a passenger lift is included. If your estimation is incorrect and extra assistance is needed, additional costs will be incurred. Our company is not responsible for possible transportation accidents that may occur in such cases.
            • Delivery to floors without a lift is not included. In such cases, you need to arrange a moving lift or pay for the additional service provided by our carrier.

            8. Risk and ownership

             

            8.1   Ownership of the products transfers to you once we receive full payment, including shipping costs.

            8.2   Once you (or a third party other than the courier) physically possess the products, they become your responsibility.

            8.3   It's your responsibility to use and maintain the purchased products. Any issues or damages arising from their use cannot be attributed to the seller.

            8.4   The use of maintenance products purchased from us is at your own risk, and any undesired results cannot be attributed to the seller.

             

            9. Cancellation, return, and refund policy

             

              9.1   We hope you're satisfied with your purchase. However, if you're not, you can return the products under the conditions outlined below or in accordance with your legal rights. 

              Right of Withdrawal & Return

              9.2   You have the legal right to change your mind and cancel the contract within 14 days after the delivery of your products, except for custom dining tables.

              9.3   During the withdrawal period, we expect you to handle the received goods and packaging with care. The goods must be returned in their original packaging.

              9.4   To exercise your right to cancel, you must inform us via email or phone within 14 days of receiving the products. We'll need a clear statement from you, and both parties (client & Bedu Atelier) must confirm this within the specified period.

              9.5   You're responsible for any reduction in the value of the goods resulting from their unnecessary use beyond what is necessary to determine their nature, characteristics, and functionality.

              9.6   Upon cancellation, we'll reimburse you for the full amount paid, excluding delivery and return shipping costs.

              9.7   We may withhold the refund until we receive the returned goods or you provide evidence of returning the goods, whichever comes first.

              9.8   We may deduct from the refund any loss of value in the products due to your unnecessary handling. You'll only be liable for any diminished value beyond what is necessary to determine the nature, characteristics, and functionality of the products. We may make deductions from the refund for such loss of value.

              9.9   If the goods are not returned in accordance with the right of withdrawal terms, we won't refund the purchase price. The product will remain your property, and upon your request, it can be sent back to you at your expense.


              Please note that custom-made products and items intended for a specific person are excluded from the right of withdrawal.

              9.10  For exchanges or returns based on personal preference or reasons other than damage caused by the customer, transport costs will apply. For customers in the Netherlands and Belgium, the transport fee for tables is 200 euros, and for chairs, it's 15 euros per item.

               

              10. Defective goods

              10.1   Please inspect the goods carefully immediately after receiving them. Check if they match the description, if the correct items were delivered, and if they meet the quality requirements. If you notice any visible defects or issues, please report them to Bedu Atelier within 7 working days after delivery. The costs of returning goods that don't match the description will be covered by Bedu Atelier.

              10.2   When returning the products, please be careful while opening and repack them in the original or similar packaging if possible.

                

              11. Queries and Complaints

               

                11.1   If you have any complaints or disputes, please notify us within 14 days of delivery. If the complaint is valid, our liability will be limited to exchanging the goods. The maximum liability of the seller is limited to the amount paid for the order.
                 

                12. Warranty conditions

                 

                  12.1   We provide a 2-year warranty for our travertine,marble and wood tables and a all other products, covering manufacturing defects and breakages. The warranty handling will be covered by Bedu Atelier, except for the shipping costs incurred by the customer for returning the product to us.
