A cone and a circle. That is the entire vocabulary of this table. There is no detailing to notice, no joint to explain, no ornament anywhere on it. The form has been reduced until only two shapes remain, and the stone is left to carry the whole table on its own.

Choose your stone

The original is Light Travertine, honed to a matte finish, with the open pores and soft tonal shifts that give travertine its warmth. The same table is cut from Calacatta Viola with its violet veining, from Rosso Levanto in deep burgundy with white veins, from Emperador Dark in warm brown, and from a wider range of travertines and marbles on our Materials page.

That page is a starting point, not a limit. The Cono can be cut from almost any travertine or marble block. If you have a stone in mind that you cannot find there, contact us and we will source it for you.

The conical base

The base is carved from one solid block of natural stone. It is not built up from segments, not bonded from slabs, not laminated and shaped afterwards. The cone is cut from a single piece, which is why the veining runs continuously from the floor to the top of the column with nothing interrupting it.

A single tapered form, widening as it meets the floor. It holds the round top steady without stretchers or spreading feet, which leaves the space beneath the table completely clear. Chairs sit anywhere around the circumference. No one ends up straddling a leg.

Because every block is quarried differently, the veining, tone and pore pattern on your table will not repeat on another one. Solid natural stone throughout, honed matte, with the conical base and the round top cut from the same material. It suits a dining room, a kitchen seating area or a covered terrace.

Travertine, being a natural material, makes each product unique and distinctive with its texture, color tones, and vein patterns. Moreover, the surface of the stone naturally contains small pores that are indicative of the authenticity of travertine. Depending on your preference, the pores of the stone can be filled, and the surface can be chosen as either matte or polished.

Travertine stones are crafted with patience and skill in challenging conditions. Our skilled artisans carefully cut, shape, polish, and add the final touches to these materials. Thus, we preserve the natural and organic forms of travertine while creating furniture designs that complement your home.

Avoid sharp or abrasive objects and use cutting boards or mats for cutting.
