Hourglass Ronde Eettafel van Travertin en Marmer

Eén blok steen, uitgehouwen tot een zandloper, die een enkel rond blad draagt. Geen oppervlak met travertin-look. Geen steeneffect-coating, geen fineer over een plaat. Niets hier imiteert steen, want alles is steen, en de voet is uit één massief blok gehouwen in plaats van samengesteld uit losse delen. Bedú Atelier tekende deze tafel in eigen huis en sneed het eerste Hourglass-prototype in 2023.

Proportie, opnieuw getekend voor elk formaat

Er is hier geen standaardpoot en geen standaardtafelblad. Wanneer de diameter verandert, verandert de voet mee. De hoogte, de taille en de welving van de zandlopervorm worden allemaal opnieuw getekend, zodat de tafel bij 100 cm hetzelfde silhouet behoudt als bij 160 cm. Onze architecten herberekenen die curve voor elke tafel. Daarom is de Hourglass geen seriematig product: elke tafel wordt volgens een eigen tekening gesneden, op bestelling gemaakt, stuk voor stuk.

Kies uw steen

Het origineel is Licht Travertin: warm, open poriën, met de zachte horizontale adering waar travertijn om bekend staat. Dezelfde tafel wordt gesneden uit Calacatta Viola met zijn violette adering, uit Rosso Levanto in diep bordeaux met witte aders, uit Emperador Dark in warm bruin, en uit een breder scala aan travertijnen en marmers op onze Materialenpagina.

Dit zijn de stenen die we op voorraad hebben, niet de beperking. De Hourglass kan uit vrijwel elk blok travertijn of marmer worden gesneden. Als u een steen in gedachten heeft die u daar niet kunt vinden, neem dan contact met ons op en wij zullen deze voor u zoeken.

De originele Hourglass, ontworpen door Bedú Atelier in 2023

Deze tafel is ons eigen ontwerp. Het werd getekend door onze architecten, in 2023 geprototypeerd in ons atelier, en wordt sindsdien hier gemaakt.

Massief travertijn en marmer verouderen mooi: met de hand verzegeld en afgewerkt, past de Hourglass in een eetkamer, een zithoek in de keuken of op een overdekt terras.

Op bestelling gemaakt en in kratten verzonden naar vele landen in Europa en daarbuiten.

A travertine table adds value to your home with its natural stone structure that is both aesthetic and functional. We offer simple and elegant travertine table models that have been processed in a detailed manner at BEDÚ Atelier.

Travertine, being a natural material, makes each product unique and distinctive with its texture, color tones, and vein patterns. Moreover, the surface of the stone naturally contains small pores that are indicative of the authenticity of travertine. Depending on your preference, the pores of the stone can be filled, and the surface can be chosen as either matte or polished.

Travertine stones are crafted with patience and skill in challenging conditions. Our skilled artisans carefully cut, shape, polish, and add the final touches to these materials. Thus, we preserve the natural and organic forms of travertine while creating furniture designs that complement your home.

Use a soft cloth or sponge with pH-neutral cleaning products designed for marble or travertine. Avoid abrasive agents.

• Water and Moisture:

Promptly wipe off spills and avoid prolonged exposure to water.

• Heat and Temperature Changes:

Use trivets or protective pads to prevent direct contact with hot objects.

• Scratches:

Avoid sharp or abrasive objects and use cutting boards or mats for cutting.

• Periodic Maintenance:

Apply recommended natural stone protectors and polishes to maintain shine and protect surfaces.
